SHANGHAI, Jul. 29 (SMM)--According to the Anhui Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau, 28 of 97 lead-acid battery producers in Anhui province were shut down by July 25th.
According to sources, the 28 closed enterprises include First Branch of Hefei Ming Jie Motorcycle Co., Ltd., Hefei Chaoyuan Power Supply Co., Ltd., Hefei Camel Battery Co., Ltd, Ma’anshan Longfei Power Supply Technology Co., Ltd., Ma’anshan Hengsheng Battery Co., Ltd., Anhui Jinling International Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., Anqing Weineng Electrical Equipments and Battery Co., Ltd., Huaining County Jinhuaxin Power Supply Co., Ltd., Anqing Jiali Power Supply Co., Ltd. , Litong Battery Co., Ltd., Anqing Borui Power Supply Co., Ltd., Tongcheng City Tiandu Electric Machinery Co., Ltd., Anhui Weichang New Energy Co., Ltd., Laian County Yongyang Power Supply and Electric Equipment Co., Ltd., Huoshan County Changxing Power Supply Co., Ltd., Haozhou City Chaoneng Power Supply Co., Ltd., Haozhou City Anshengyuan Power Supply Co., Ltd., Haozhou City Shunxing Power Supply Co., Ltd., Chizhong Huaneng Battery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Chizhou Kebo Power Supply Co., Ltd., Qingyang County Huafeng Power Supply Co., Ltd. and Ningguo City Changxing Energy Storage Power Supply Co., Ltd.
According to sources, besides the 28 lead-acid battery manufacturers which were shut down, there are 52 enterprises suspended for inspection.
The Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China required listing the names of closed lead-acid enterprises on the net by July 31, and SMM will keep eyes on progresses in other provinces.
