SHANGHAI, Jul. 25 (SMM)--LME zinc prices continued rising last Friday, with prices pushed up to USD 2,460-2,480/mt at noon on news that the Euro zone leaders reached a consensus on the Greek Bailout issue. During evening hours, LME zinc prices surged to USD 2,500/mt and met resistance at that level, with prices finally closing at USD 2,485/mt, up USD 36/mt. Trading volumes decreased by 1,068 lots to 5,256 lots, and total positions increased by 5,170 lots to 257,225 lots. SHFE 1110 zinc contract prices are expected to rise to RMB 18,700-18,900/mt today.
