SHANGHAI, Jan. 5 (CBI China) -- Selenium dioxide domestic market turnover was muted, and the prices fell slightly with the current trading prices of RMB 270 / kg.
It is reported that the main reasons for the price drop were: first, supply increases, 80 mt of selenium powder was expected to arrive at the port in December, leading to the increases in spot selenium dioxide; second, many refined manganese manufacturers covered positions when the prices rose in early days, causing not much demand for spot goods.
CBI believes that the recent price is expected to fluctuate narrowly in the RMB 250-300/kg range.
