SHANGHAI, Dec. 1 (CBI China) -- Yunnan Copper Nyrstar Zinc Alloys Co., Ltd. continued to cut production of zinc ingots on November 28th from 33% in November to as much as 1/6 of former total output (original annual capacity of 60,000mt of zinc ingots). CBI learned that such low operating rate is the lowest production capacity of enterprises with the aim of further reducing business losses. From another news, a new zinc alloy plant of the company with capacity of 40,000 mt/yr is planned for test operation on December 9th, at that time its joint venture Belgian Nyrstar officials would visit the scene and give technical guidance. For the specific production, CBI will update later.
