DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI Jun.22 (CBI China)--CBI believes the impact from the rebate adjustment effective July 1st is not as severe as the market generally expected and will have several results:
1. Export growth will be encouraged because rebates for aluminum sheet and foil remain unchanged.
2. For extrusion products, there will be a short-term decline in exports in coming 1-2 months. However, domestic market supply should grow and allow exports to increase in the long run.
3. Throughout June, the market will see a surge of exports before the rebate adjustment takes effect on July 1st.
