Xstrata Says Copper Production to Rise in Second Half

Jul. 2 (Bloomberg) –Xstrata Plc (XTA) said copper production will increase in the second half of the year and the Zug, Switzerland-based company can meet its annual output target.

Xstrata and Anglo American Plc (AAL)’s Collahuasi copper mine in Chile is in the process of restarting its port six months after a ship-loader collapse killed three people, Charlie Sartain, Xstrata’s head of copper, told reporters in Santiago today.
