Copper Drops for Third Day on Concern Mideast Unrest May Derail Recovery

Feb. 23 (Bloomberg) --Copper declined for a third day in London on concern escalating geopolitical tensions may derail the global economic recovery. The metal also dropped in New York.

Three-month delivery copper on the London Metal Exchange fell as much as 0.6 percent to $9,524 a metric ton, while May- delivery futures on the Comex in New York shed as much as 0.7 percent to $4.3320 a pound.
