Copper Advances to a Record in New York For Second Day Amid Rising Demand

Dec. 28 (Bloomberg) --Copper futures in New York climbed to a record $4.3075 a pound, surpassing the previous peak of $4.2985 a pound reached yesterday. The most-active March- delivery contract on the Comex in New York traded at $4.3025 a pound by 8:32 a.m. Singapore time.
