Atlas Mining Unit Delivers 5,100 Tons Copper Concentrate To China

MANILA, Oct 12, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Atlas Consolidated Mining & Development Corp. (AT.PH) said Tuesday that its unit Carmen Copper Corp. this week completed the shipment of 5,100 wet metric tons of copper concentrate to China. 

The shipment was consigned to Jiangxi Copper Co. in Guixi City, Jiangxi province, the company said in a filing to the stock exchange.

The shipment contained 27.0% copper, 2.44 grams of gold a ton and 24.26 grams of silver a ton based on preliminary assays, the company said.

The shipment came from Carmen Copper's mine in Toledo City in Cebu in the central Philippines.
