SHANGHAI, Aug. 13 (SMM) -- SMM believes that China's EMM price faced risks to fall in the following week, and demand for selenium dioxide will also be sluggish given the low operating rates at EMM producers. However, production costs are still high for selenium dioxide producers due to firm offers of selenium from overseas providers, which will continue supporting selenium dioxide prices.
It is expected that prices of selenium dioxide will stagnate between RMB 430-440/kg in the following week. Prices of selenium will also stay stable between RMB 610-630/kg from relatively sluggish demand but high import prices.
