SHANGHAI, Aug. 9 (SMM) -- China's selenium market stagnated. Domestic offers of selenium powder were between RMB 600-620/kg, and prices of selenium dioxide remained between RMB 425-430/kg.

According to SMM sources, selenium dioxide prices relatively stagnated. Most selenium dioxide producers kept offers firm due to high production costs from firm offers of selenium, but market supply of selenium dioxide was relatively ample amid low demand from EMM producers. In this context, domestic selenium dioxide prices still run risks to fall further under the context of sluggish demand and ample supply.
