TOKYO, July 29 -- Japan's refined zinc exports for June fell 37 percent from a year earlier to 9,464 tonnes, with Taiwan accounting for the largest share of export volume, Ministry of Finance data showed on Thursday.

Indonesia and China are also key markets for Japan's zinc, which is mainly used as an anti-corrosive coating in galvanised steel production and in plating.

It was the sixth straight month of year-on-year decline. In May, zinc exports fell 39 percent from a year earlier.
