Atlas Unit Completes Shipment Of 5,701 Wet Tons Copper Concentrate

MANILA, Jul 11, 2010 (Dow Jones Commodities News via Comtex) -- Atlas Consolidated Mining & Development Corp. (AT.PH) said Monday its unit Carmen Copper Corp. completed shipment last week of 5,701.99 wet metric tons of copper concentrate to a smelter in China.

The shipment, valued at $9.3 million, contained 28.37% copper, 2.81 grams gold/ton and 22.84 grams silver/ton based on preliminary assays, the company said in a filing to the stock exchange.

The delivery, Carmen Copper's 10th shipment of copper concentrate this year, was consigned to Jinlong Copper Co. in Anhui province.
