DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingLONDON June 3 -- Nickel fell more than 5 percent to a four month-low and zinc lost around 4 percent on Thursday on the back of persistent worries about the health of the euro zone economy, traders said.
Selling pressure has escalated as the euro dropped to a session low versus the dollar.
Nickel CMNI3 for three months delivery on the London Metal Exchange fell to $18,600 a tonne, its lowest since mid-February and was at $18,670 a tonne by 1445 GMT, versus Wednesday's $19,650 a tonne.
Zinc CMZN3 tumbled as low as $1,729.25 a tonne and was last at $1,736.50 a tonne versus $1,801 a tonne.
