Hindustan Zinc Ups Zinc Price 1.7%; Lead Price Unchanged

MUMBAI, May 27 -- Hindustan Zinc Ltd. (500188.BY) said Thursday it has raised its zinc price by INR1,800 a metric ton, or 1.7%, to INR105,800/ton, effective immediately.

It didn't give any reason for the price increase.

However, the unit of London-listed Vedanta Resources PLC (VED.LN) kept its lead price unchanged at INR100,400/ton.
