SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) -- As domestic EMM prices fell rapidly and some EMM producers planned to halt production, China's demand for selenium dioxide was not strong and decline pace of prices quickened. Currently, mainstream traded prices of selenium dioxide were around RMB 455/kg.
It was reported that the accelerated decline pace is attributed to sluggish demand as well as from sell-offs from some traders. Although overseas prices ceased to decline, prices of raw material were high, and prices of selenium dioxide were lower than cost level. However, market expectation was pessimistic and prices still didn't show any sign to decline.
