SHANGHAI, May 25 (SMM) -- Transaction of China's refined cobalt were sluggish, and price spread among different brands widened.
It was reported that mainstream offers were between RMB 380,000-385,000/mt, despite that Jinchuan Group lowered offers to RMB 375,000/mt. Selling prices of refined nickel from Congo and other countries were RMB 330,000-340,000/mt. SMM believes that the widening price spread may fuel consumers' negotiation power and downward momentum of refined cobalt prices may increase when consumption is not brisk, despite that prices of refined cobalt may differ from one specification from another.
