SHANGHAI, May 10 -- According to the preliminary data from General Administration of Customs on May 10th, China's imports of unwrought copper and copper semis were 436,345 mt during April, with YTD imports of 1,506,992 mt, up 12.7% YoY; imports of scrap copper were 370 kt in April, with YTD imports of 1.35 million mt, up 19.4% YoY.
China's imports of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis were 93,341 mt during April, with YTD imports of 350,417 mt, down 50.2% YoY; imports of alumina were 150 kt during April, with YTD imports of 1.75 million mt, up 4.4% YoY; imports of scrap aluminum were 250 kt during April, with YTD imports of 930 kt, up 78.3% YoY; China's exports of unwrought aluminum were 90,256 mt during April.
