SHANGHAI, Mar. 29 (SMM) --

Refined Copper
According to China Customs, China's imports of refined copper were 220.5 kt in February, down 18.61% YoY, but up 11.99% MoM. On a monthly basis, China's imports of refined copper remain high, putting pressure on spot demand. SMM expects China's average monthly imports of refined copper to be approximately 200-220 kt during 2010, given slow recovery of scrap copper imports and growth of demand.
