SHANGHAI, Jan. 15 (SMM) -- Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture Alashankou JilinTrading Company imported first batch of lead-zinc ore through Manzhouli highway port, a total of 22 mt in one wagon, and with customs clearance procedures handled smoothly. This is the first time the lead-zinc ore was imported through Manzhouli highway port for many years. The cargo-owner said the company's headquarters is located in Xinjiang, with a branch established in Kazakhstan. This branch imported a wagon of lead-zinc ore through Manzhouli port at first in view of its short distance from Manzhouli city in anticipation of understanding the traffic and customs clearance procedures and opening northern market, and they will import large amounts of lead-zinc ore through this port in the future, if everything runs smoothly this time.
The staff from the Highway Office of Manzhouli Entry-Exit Inspection And Quarantine Bureau carried out the strict supervision and timely contacted with relevant inspection and quarantine offices, and actively communicated with the customs and other inspection departments, to ensure the smooth entry of the first batch of lead-zinc ore, and to lay a solid foundation for the rapid customs clearance of imported lead-zinc ore through Manzhouli highway port in the future.
