Cobalt Prices Climb in European Market

SHANGHAI, Jan. 14 (SMM) -- According to resources from overseas market, prices of cobalt kept on climbing in overseas market. According to market players in Europe, suppliers were reluctant to move goods in a large amount, with single trading volumes mainly below 10 mt. If single trading volumes exceed 10 mt, prices would also climb steadily.

Refined cobalt (99.3%) climbed to USD 20.75-22/lbs, and refined cobalt (99.8%) was mainly sold at USD 22.5-23.5/lbs. It was reported, traded prices of refined cobalt from Russia were in a wide range in USD 20.5-22.6/lbs. Refined nickel from Falconbridge was traded around USD 23.5/lbs.
