






SHANGHAI, Nov. 20 (SMM) -- Today, mainstream offers for refined manganese are RMB 13,400-13,500/mt, manganese producers kept offers firm due to rising production costs.
The electricity prices were RMB 0.48/kWh in Guizhou province, and reached RMB 0.51/kWh after the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) announced a rise in the price of electricity for non-residential use by RMB 0.028/kWh; the electricity prices have been lifted by RMB 0.08-0.1/kWh to RMB 0.61/kWh in Guangxi province; the electricity prices were RMB 0.53-0.55/kWh in Hunan province, and RMB 0.48/kWh in Xiushan region, Chongqing.
In addition, prices for other raw materials at refined manganese producers increased as well.
Manganese ore powder: prices of manganese ore powder increased by RMB 20/mt in Hunan province, with prices to factory (including tax) for ore powder (16%) reaching RMB 750/mt; prices of ore powder remained unchanged in Guizhou, Xiushan and Guangxi, but still with a sign of slight rise due to supply tightness of ore powder.
Sulfuric acid: prices to factory (including tax) for sulfuric acid (98%) were RMB 400-450/mt, up RMB 20-30/mt.
Selenium dioxide: prices of selenium dioxide were RMB 350-360/kg, up RMB 20-30/kg.
