SHANGHAI, Nov. 12 (SMM) -- Today, mainstream offers for refined manganese were RMB 13,100/mt, and inquiries declined gradually.

Yesterday, deals were mainly made at RMB 13,100/mt, but most traders stood out of market. A trader in Dainan said they will purchase on as-needed basis after limited volumes of stock replenishment in view of current weak downstream demand.

Alloy producers reduced purchase volumes sharply yesterday, and only limited enterprises were purchasing goods in the market.

SMM believes manganese prices will likely fall slightly as traders held a wait-and-see attitude and downstream purchasing interest was low.
