To effectively ensure the provision of national highway transportation services during the Labour Day holiday, the Road Network Monitoring and Emergency Response Center of the Ministry of Transport, in collaboration with the Road Traffic Safety Research Center of the Ministry of Public Security, the Public Meteorological Service Center of the China Meteorological Administration, the Planning and Research Institute of the Ministry of Transport, Transinfo Technology, AutoNavi Maps, and Baidu Maps, organized a joint research and consultation meeting on road network operations during the Labour Day holiday. It was noted that NEV traffic has increased significantly. It is expected that NEV traffic will account for nearly 20% of the daily average total traffic during the Labour Day holiday, representing a notable increase compared to the same period in 2024 (accounting for 13.3%) and the 2025 Chinese New Year (accounting for 16.4%).
