[SMM Policy Express] Longnan City, Gansu Province: The Provincial Government Work Report Focuses on Hydrogen Energy and Plans the Implementation of Renewable Energy

Recently, the Office of the People's Government of Longnan City issued a notice on the main goals and key tasks related to Longnan in the "Provincial Government Work Report."

The document emphasized vigorously cultivating future industries, focusing on cutting-edge areas such as hydrogen energy and new-type energy storage, commercial aerospace, low-altitude economy, artificial intelligence, and quantum information, planning a number of demonstration projects, and creating future industry clusters. In the hydrogen energy sector, it proposed planning and implementing projects such as renewable energy-based hydrogen production to foster new quality productive forces. It urged related industry chains, including new energy (equipment manufacturing), non-ferrous metallurgy, and non-metallic industries, to actively explore new development directions, strengthen the planning and reserve of projects such as smart mines and digital workshops, and dynamically include them in the city's industry chain project list for scheduling and supervision.

Efforts will be accelerated to build a nationally significant base for new energy and new energy equipment manufacturing, striving to achieve a new energy grid connection installed capacity exceeding 80 million kW. The construction of the city's new energy and equipment manufacturing industrial base will be expedited, and related services for new energy project grid connections will be improved, aiming to achieve a new energy grid connection installed capacity exceeding 1 million kW.

The action to cultivate and enhance advanced manufacturing clusters will be deeply implemented, accelerating the construction of national advanced manufacturing clusters such as Jinbailanwu non-ferrous metals and Baohantian industrial mother machines, striving to establish national advanced manufacturing clusters in green chemicals, new energy, and new energy equipment manufacturing, and creating more than three provincial-level advanced manufacturing clusters and over 30 provincial-level small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industrial clusters.
