Anglo American and Codelco Sign MoU to Jointly Develop Chile's Los Bronces and Andina Mines

Anglo American announced that its 50.1%-owned subsidiary, Anglo American Sur SA (AAS), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Codelco to develop a joint mining plan for the adjacent Los Bronces and Andina copper mines in Chile. The plan aims to increase copper production with minimal additional capital investment and is expected to generate a pre-tax net present value (NPV) of at least $5 billion during the agreement period, with the proceeds equally shared between the two parties.
