[SMM Lithium Carbonate Futures Review: LC2411 Main Contract Drops by 5.27%] On October 9, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2411 fell by 5.27%. According to data, the main contract of lithium carbonate 2411 opened at 76,200 yuan/ton and closed at 76,400 yuan/ton on the same day, with a trading volume of 176,135 lots and an open interest of 210,574 lots, a decrease of 1,248 lots from the previous trading day. SMM's spot quotation for battery-grade lithium carbonate on the same day was 76,500-78,000 yuan/ton, with an average price of 77,300 yuan/ton, an increase of 1,600 yuan/ton from the previous working day. In terms of trends, the price of lithium carbonate opened lower on the day and then rose slightly before hovering, experiencing slow downward oscillations during the session. After a slight rally in the afternoon, it hovered with oscillations towards the close, ultimately ending the day with a 5.27% decline.
