Completion of First Cross-Provincial Ultra-High Voltage Shared Energy Storage Station Supports Green Energy Transformation

The first cross-provincial ultra-high voltage external transfer supporting shared energy storage station in the country has completed dynamic commissioning. The step-up station of the Taifu 150MW/300MWh shared energy storage station project in Xilinhot City successfully reversed the power transmission once. The project is located in Baoligeng Sumu, Xilinhot City, with a total investment of approximately 550 million yuan and a construction period of 6 months. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can achieve an annual output value of 80 million yuan, an annual sales of electricity of 69,000 megawatt-hours, and be dispatched by the power grid to high-load areas such as Shandong and Jiangsu, providing various services such as peak shaving, frequency regulation, standby, and demand response for power grid operation. This will further enhance the new energy consumption and peak regulation capacity of the entire league, and provide strong support for the green and low-carbon transformation of energy and the guarantee of safe and stable operation of the power grid.
