After Xinjiang Tianqi Optoelectronics announced the launch of its perovskite single-junction module with an efficiency of 18.04%, breaking the world record, on November 27th, it was tested by a global authoritative testing agency. The commercial-size perovskite module of 1.2x0.6 square meters from Jidi Guangneng achieved a comprehensive area efficiency of 18.2%, with a corresponding maximum power of 131.07 watts, and an aperture area efficiency of up to 19.55%.

In the past five months, Jidi Guangneng has increased the comprehensive area efficiency of commercial-size perovskite modules by 1.02 percentage points, thanks to the deep involvement of domestic perovskite industry upstream and downstream enterprises. TCO conductive glass, as the core part of perovskite modules, has long been restricted by high production barriers, causing a bottleneck for foreign investment in this field. Jinjing Technology, with its technological accumulation in ultra-clear coated glass, achieved mass production in 2022 after years of dedicated research, filling the domestic gap and initiating the process of domestic substitution of TCO glass.
