Due to the unique properties of one-dimensional (1D) materials, they have a wide range of applications in improving the efficiency and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). In view of the great contribution of 1D materials in PSCs, it is necessary to have a comprehensive understanding of 1D materials in PSCs.
Based on this, Professor Chen Jiangzhao of Chongqing University and Kunming University of Science and Technology systematically summarized and combed the application progress of one-dimensional materials in perovskite solar cells, focusing on the synthesis methods of one-dimensional perovskites, and summarizing the role of one-dimensional/three-dimensional perovskites heterojunctions in improving efficiency and stability in PSCs. In addition, the application progress of one-dimensional carrier transport layer materials in PSCs was discussed in depth. This paper aims to elucidate the important role of 1D materials in PSCs and make a prospect for the future development of 1D materials in PSCs, so as to contribute to the large-scale commercialization of perovskite photovoltaic technology.
