Silicone oil market review this week

As of July 27, dimethicone prices stood between 15,200-16,000 yuan/mt, with a weekly average of 13,650 yuan/mt and a drop of 200 yuan/mt from a week earlier.

This week, leading silicone companies lowered the price of their silicone oil products by 600 yuan/mt. Before the price reduction of leading companies, the silicone oil prices of other silicone companies were basically the same as the current prices of leading companies.

Therefore, except for leading companies, the silicone oil prices of other silicone companies were lowered insignificantly. And the overall traded price range of the market moved slightly downward. Prices of foreign silicone oil brands stabilised at 17,500-18,500 yuan/mt this week.
