SMM Statistics of China Module Projects in April

According to incomplete statistics from SMM, as of April 30, there were a total of 171 PV module projects in April 2023, of which 131 disclosed the installed capacity, which totalled 37.26 GW, an increase of 25.4 GW or 214.17% compared with the previous month and a year-on-year increase of 430.83%.

The average bid price of modules still maintained a downward trend. The average bid price in April was 1.71 yuan/W, a decrease of 0.03 yuan/W compared with the previous month. The concentrated range of bid prices dropped slightly to 1.60-1.75 yuan/W, and the lowest bid price continued to drop to 1.53 yuan/W.
