According to SMM survey, the average operating rate of zinc oxide enterprises was 61.5% last week, an increase of 1.4 percentage points week-on-week. In terms of raw material inventory, some companies purchased at low prices during the week, but some companies were still cautious in purchasing due to the current high zinc slag coefficient and the expected lower operating rates at galvanising plants in the future.
The overall fluctuation of raw materials was not obvious. In terms of orders, the lower zinc prices boosted orders. However, orders from feed did not improve significantly. It is expected that the change in the operating rate will be limited this week.
