SMM Prices of Industrial Silicon Products and Polysilicon Diverge

SHANGHAI, Feb 8 (SMM) -  According to the latest SMM prices, the prices of industrial silicon products were lowered by 50-100 yuan/mt on February 8.

Specifically, 421# silicon metal prices were cut by 50-100 yuan/mt and quoted at 18,500-18,800 yuan/mt at Huangpu Port, averaging at 18,650 yuan/mt. The 421# silicon metal prices were reduced by 50-100 yuan/mt and quoted at 18,800-19,100 yuan/mt at Tianjin Port, averaging at 18,950 yuan/mt. The prices of 553# and 3303# silicon metal all dropped to varying degrees.

Prices of silicon powder remained stable.

Prices of polysilicon products rose across the board. For example, the prices of dense polysilicon gained by 25 yuan/kg to 210-250 yuan/kg, with an average price of 230 yuan/kg.

Prices of silicon wafers, solar cells and modules all remained stable.
