SHANGHAI, Jan 17 (SMM) - Prices of #6517 silico-manganese were 7,300-7,350 yuan/mt in the north China market in cash, flat from the previous trading day, and those in the south China market moved between 7,350-7,400 yuan/mt, flat from the previous trading day. According to SMM research, the market transactions stagnated as the Chinese New Year comes closer, and most manufacturers focused on delivering orders. The soaring futures prices boosted the manufacturers’ sentiment, and the market picked up.
