December 20, Hangzhou Zhongxin Wafer Semiconductor Co., Ltd. semiconductor 12-inch wafer phase II expansion project completion ceremony was held.

According to Zhongxin wafer news, Shi Peiyu, general manager of the foreign enterprise division of Jiangsu Nantong Sijian Group Co., Ltd., said that Zhongxin Wafer "Semiconductor 12-inch large Silicon Wafer Phase II expansion Project" has added a clean room workshop that can hold 200000 12-inch silicon wafer production capacity and supporting pure water, gas chemical supply systems. The project began planning in March 2021 and was completed on December 20, with a total construction time of about 9 months.

It has been revealed that the "second phase expansion project of semiconductor 12-inch wafers" will help Zhongxin wafer 12-inch wafer production capacity increase to 200000 pieces per month by the end of 2022.

It is worth mentioning that in September this year, the news showed that Zhongxin Wafer announced the completion of round B financing, with a financing amount of 3.3 billion yuan. At that time, it was mentioned that the financing funds would be used for the construction of the second 100000 wafer production line for 12-inch wafers, and the 12-inch wafers would reach a production capacity of 200000 wafers per month by the end of 2022.
