Through side expansion drilling, Filo Mining (Filo Mining) has further expanded its scope at the Felodsall (Filo del Sol) copper, gold, silver and molybdenum mine in San Juan, Argentina, by one kilometer to the north and 200m to the east.
The maximum ore thickness of the three boreholes is 942 meters, the ore depth is 58 meters, the copper grade is 0.42%, the gold is 0.32 g / ton, and the silver is 2.2 g / ton, that is, the copper equivalent grade is 0.67%. These include higher grade mineralization of 0.51% copper, 0.37 g / ton gold and 2.5 g / ton silver.
So far, the company has completed 7700 meters of drilling, seven boreholes have been completed and five are in progress.
The estimated resources of the Felodsall project are 4.4 million ounces of gold (136tons), 147 million ounces of silver (4560 tons) and 3.1 billion pounds (1.4 million tons) of copper.
The preliminary economic evaluation completed in 2019 shows that the project can produce 67000 tons of copper, 159000 ounces of gold and 8.6 million ounces of silver per year, the life of the mine is 13 years, and the initial construction investment is 1.27 billion US dollars.
