Primary aluminium inventories shrank 7,000 mt on week

SHANGHAI, Jul 9 (SMM) – Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China extended a downward trend this week, and the days in inventory across social warehouses continued to reduce from the previous week, showed SMM data. 

Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 7,000 mt from a week ago to 712,000 mt as of Thursday July 9, following a decline of 3,000 mt in the previous week.
