Primary aluminium inventories fell 3,000 mt on week

Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China continued to trend lower this week, albeit at a slower pace, showed SMM data.

SHANGHAI, Jul 2 (SMM) – Primary aluminium ingot inventories in China continued to trend lower this week, albeit at a slower pace, showed SMM data.


Social inventories of primary aluminium ingots across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased 3,000 mt from last Wednesday June 24 to 719,000 mt as of Thursday July 2, following a decline of 32,000 mt in the previous week.
