Trading remained quiet in imported copper concentrate market last week, SMM noted.

Codelco Lowers Copper Output Estimation for Q2

Copper smelters may step up production after maintenance, and are expected to replenish raw material stocks. Besides, strikes at overseas mines and the unforeseen may have effect on future copper concentrate supply. These factors may affect spot TCs in the near term, SMM said.

멕시코 국립통계지리연구소(INEGI)는 2026년 7월 광산·제련 몰리브덴 생산량이 1,329톤으로 전월 대비 2.6%, 전년 동기 대비 6.3% 감소하며 2개월 연속 하락세를 기록했다고 발표했다. 1~7월 누적 생산량은 9,281톤으로 전년 동기의 10,116톤보다 835톤 적어 전년 동기 대비 8.3% 감소했다. 7월의 재차 감소는 멕시코의 누적 몰리브덴 공급이 2025년 수준을 여전히 밑돌고 있음을 시사한다. 2026년 수치는 잠정치이며, 2025년 데이터는 확정치다.
