SHANGHAI, Oct. 13 (SMM) - Chile's state copper commission Cochilco expects October 12 domestic copper output to fall 3.9% year-on-year to 5.40 million tonnes in 2016, and rise 5.5% year-on-year to 5.85 million tonnes in 2017, according to wenhua.com.
The forecast was lower than the 5.70 million tonnes and 5.92 million tones it had expected in July.
The Cochilco left its forecast for copper prices at $2.15 per tonne for 2016, and $2.20 per tonne for 2017.
