The market price of titanium dioxide remains strong, and there are many production schedules of various large factories. Some factories have scheduled production to June, and the downstream demand, especially the heat at the end of foreign trade, remains unabated. In addition, due to the expected increase in the price of titanium concentrate, titanium dioxide enterprises are optimistic about the future price trend. At the same time, under the influence of environmental protection inspectors, the operating rate in Shandong and Anhui is limited, and the tight market supply cannot be improved in the short term. It is expected that in the later stage, with the increase of the price of titanium concentrate, the price of titanium dioxide still has some room to rise.

Guoxin Securities pointed out that since the second half of last year, driven by the continuous promotion of titanium concentrate costs and the sustained growth of exports, domestic titanium dioxide prices have rebounded obviously, and titanium concentrate prices are still expected to rise in the near future. Domestic titanium dioxide exports from January to February in 2021 exceeded 200000 tons, up more than 15 percent from the same period last year, and exports reached 127000 tons in March, an increase of 34 percent over the previous month. We judge that in the future, under the background of the rising prices of titanium concentrate and sulfuric acid and the sustained recovery of demand at home and abroad, the price of titanium dioxide will still maintain the upstream channel and pay attention to the domestic titanium dioxide industry leader Python Burley and medium nuclear titanium dioxide.
