Changxing County Seeks Public Input on 23,000 Ton Waste Lithium Battery Recycling Project

The Changxing County People's Government of Huzhou, Zhejiang Province, issued a public participation statement for the environmental impact assessment of a Zhejiang company’s technical renovation project for 23,000 tons annual treatment of waste lithium batteries by echelon utilization and green recovery. According to the information, the "23,000 t/a waste lithium battery echelon utilization and green recovery industrialization project" has been completed. Currently, it possesses the capacity to treat and utilize 11,500 tons of waste lithium-ion batteries and 11,500 tons of waste electrode sheets per year.
