Due to the implosion of New York banks, lower-than-expected inflation data, confusing U.S. elections, etc., the market's risk aversion sentiment was high and silver prices rose.
The silver prices opened at $23.893 per ounce on March 5. The average ex-factory price of SMM 1# silver in the morning session stood at 6076 yuan/kg, up 106 yuan/kg or 1.8% compared with the previous day.
According to SMM, premium for large-volume order national standard silver ingots in Shanghai was 2 yuan/kg, and the quotation of spot silver ingots from large producers was 3-4 yuan/kg with cash payment. Demand was weak.
