Anglo American's Copper Output Jumped In The First Quarter, Output of Quellaveco Copper Mine In Peru Increased

Anglo American said last Tuesday that the company's copper production increased in the first quarter of this year, mainly due to the higher output from its Quellaveco copper mine in Peru.

The company’s data showed that its copper production in the first quarter was 178,000 mt, a sharp increase of 28% over the same period last year; its coking coal production increased by 59% to 3.5 million mt.
