SMM Network News: [outer disk, news] last Friday night, the international gold and silver shock closed down. COMEX gold closed at 1905.0, down 0.51%, and the daily line Xiaoyin is still in shock. Technically, the 60-day average and the high point connection pressure since August 18 are obvious. The weekly K line closed at Xiaoyin, the 5-and 10-week moving averages and MACD descended, and the short-term adjustment situation was maintained with support of 1890 and pressure of 1930. COMEX silver closed at 24.315, down 0.59%, daily overcast, short-term recovery form is not completely bad. The weekly K-line closed between the 10-and 20-week moving averages, the 5-and 10-week averages and MACD descended, and the short line had repeated characteristics, with support of 23.5 and pressure of 25.3.

News: us retail sales rose 1.9% a month in September, a higher-than-expected rise of 0.8%. Us industrial output fell at a monthly rate of 0.6 per cent in September and is expected to increase by 0.5 per cent. Negotiations between the White House, Senate Republicans and House Democrats on the U. S. bailout plan remain deadlocked. The European Union and Britain agreed to continue trade negotiations. A spokesman for the British prime minister said there was no point in a new round of negotiations unless the trade text was discussed.

[fund position] Gold ETF held 1272.56 tons, down 0.27% from the previous day, while silver ETF held 17527.43 tons, unchanged from the previous day. In the week ended Oct. 13, CFTC announced 240671 non-commercial net long positions in gold, down 3.18% from the previous week, and 40788 non-commercial long positions in silver, down 1.14% from the previous week.

[futures trend] on Friday night in China, the Shanghai gold market fluctuated within a narrow range after a small low opening, and the futures price was still below the daily average. The overall downward average of the daily average continued the adjustment trend, but the 400 mark was not broken and the downward adjustment space was not enlarged; after the opening of Shanghai Bank, the narrow range shock, the 10-day moving average was flat, and the upper fork in the MACD horizontal market was technically unchanged but slightly stable in the short term. Fundamentally, the overseas epidemic continues to spread, and a second round of blockades and restrictions have been adopted in many parts of Europe. Us retail sales figures are better than expected and prospects for a new stimulus package are bleak, while Ms EU will continue to engage and negotiate, temporarily allaying fears of Brexit without an agreement. On the whole, there is a lack of short-term gold and silver uplink stimulus theme. AU2012 supports 400, pressure 408. AG 2012 supports 5000, pressure 5300.

[operating strategy] medium-term rally of Shanghai gold is not bad, short-term shock adjustment, short-term trading of AU2012 reference technology; medium-term rise of Shanghai silver is not bad, short-term shock is temporarily stable, AG2012 reference 5000 first-line support, short-term adjustment of light positions before breaking.
