Recently, Anhui Xinjiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. has conducted an environmental impact assessment for its 40 million tons of lithium material resource recycling project (Phase I). The project is divided into three phases, with a total investment of 500 million yuan for the first phase.
After the project is completed and put into operation, the first phase can process 135,000 tons of waste lithium batteries (equivalent to 60,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate black powder) per year; the second phase can process 100,000 tons of processed electrolytic aluminum slag per year; and the third phase can process 165,000 tons of waste lithium batteries (equivalent to 80,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate black powder) and 160,000 tons of processed electrolytic aluminum slag per year.
