Recently, the Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission released the first batch public notice list of the fourth-year national subsidy arrangement plan for the promotion and application of fuel cell vehicle demonstration city clusters, involving two enterprises in Liwan District and Huadu District and 46 fuel cell vehicles, with a total of 3.86 million yuan in planned subsidy funds.
According to the public notice, Guangzhou Yihuatong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Huakai Vehicle Equipment Co., Ltd. were included in this subsidy arrangement plan. Among them, Guangzhou Yihuatong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. applied for six fuel cell vehicles and planned to receive subsidies of 660,000 yuan; Guangzhou Huakai Vehicle Equipment Co., Ltd. applied for 40 units and planned to receive subsidies of 3.2 million yuan.
The subsidy list was formulated based on relevant notices from the Ministry of Finance on the 2026 budget for energy conservation and emission reduction subsidy funds, as well as policies such as Guangdong Province's promotion of innovative development of the hydrogen energy industry and Guangzhou's promotion of high-quality development of the hydrogen energy industry. Based on organizing enterprise applications and evaluations, the relevant authorities determined the planned subsidy recipients and amounts by combining vehicle operation data extracted from the fuel cell vehicle module of the Guangzhou NEV big data monitoring platform.
The public notice shows that both applicant enterprises are currently in normal operation, and the number of vehicles applied for by them matches the approved number. Among them, six vehicles are equipped with fuel cell systems with a rated power of 120 kW, and the other 40 vehicles are equipped with systems rated at 80 kW.
The public notice period for this subsidy plan is from August 7 to August 20, 2026, totaling 10 working days. Any objections to the relevant content during the publicity period can be reported to the Energy Division of the Guangzhou Municipal Development and Reform Commission in writing with real-name registration.
