The PMI for the transport infrastructure sector stood at 50.13 in May, down 1.78 points MoM and 1.21 points YoY.
The seasonally-adjusted composite index stood at 48.52, down 0.56 point on the month and 1.32 points on the year. The index for production stood at 50.69, down 2.45 points on a monthly basis and 1.91 points on a yearly basis.
The index for new orders fell 2.70 points month on month and 1.72 points year on year to 49.90. The producers kept 14.03 days of raw material inventories on average in May, up 0.01 day MoM (The number of days of raw material inventories is for reference only as the survey sample may have changed).
