Yangquan Unveils 2024 Action Plan to Boost Photovoltaic Industry Chain Development and Energy Transition

The Yangquan Municipal Energy Bureau in Shanxi Province has issued the "Action Plan for the Development of Yangquan Photovoltaic Industry Chain in 2024", which focuses on addressing issues related to the frames, backboards, and supports for photovoltaic modules. In addition, the plan aims to develop a diamond slicing equipment industry based on coalbed methane, strengthen the promotion and application of photovoltaic modules, and build a photovoltaic industry cluster with Yangquan characteristics. The goal is to increase the newly installed photovoltaic capacity to over 500,000 kilowatts, increase the annual power generation capacity by over 70 million kilowatt-hours, and increase the installed capacity of new energy and clean energy to over 30% by 2025.
